Phoebe knows everything there is to know about serial killers she finds them so intriguing that she chose to do her PhD dissertation on that genre. She moves to her dads old home after he died and when cleaning the house out she finds her dad’s neighbor partially mysterious. A little too mysterious. He makes loud noises at night, uses tarps and washes off his hands from what? Has her obsession with serial killers gone to her head or is there something that needs to be investigated about this neighbor?
This book is a romance novel with a small touch of mystery. If you are expecting suspense or thrill this is not your book. This book was not as cheesy as I originally projected it has just enough for a fun quick read on vacation or at the beach. I didn’t connect to it personally but was never uninterested to stop reading. Overall, a fun twist to recommend to young love readers.
