Imagine if you get a crippling note from your husband that reads ‘protect her’. What would you do? Hannah is married to Owen who has a daughter from a past relationship. Hannah believes the note is addressed to his daughter, Bailey. Bailey is a teenager with teenage angst which leads to no relationship with her stepmom. But what does Hannah have to protect Bailey from?
This book goes on the journey to find Owen a husband, friend, coworker and father. As stepmother and daughter follow this mystery case, Bailey and Hannah don’t know the true Owen. What they find out together is beyond what they ever thought their loving husband and father could ever be up to. Bailey is a key component to this mystery and Hannah is the locksmith.
Great mystery book, the events that follow this case are unpredictable and gets you tied in. The book keeps you on your toes, I would recommend to any mystery lover but not to thriller lovers. This book has been referenced as a Thriller? I would deny any claims of a thriller book which lead me to be disappointed in the end when I found thrilling events. I was ready for some crazy suspenseful event to happen but felt hanging wanting more. Recommend to the correct audience.
