This book starts with a delightful couple and family that live in a pleasant neighborhood with normal day jobs. What isn’t quite normal about them is their hobby. Date nights aren’t not a dinner and a movie but more dinner and their next victim. They both have this sick, twisted liking of murder. After this hobby interferes with their marriage, career and raising of their family the husband realizes maybe this is not the path for them.

As the husband confronts Millicent, the wife, she doesn’t see his point of view. She then starts acting very mysterious now days. The husband knows of her ways in the past but is she out to get him now? Can he trust his wife? They have a family, how can the husband get a way from this lifestyle.

This book was pleasantly well put together. I enjoyed every page. Truly thrilling and satisfying.Something about Millicent wanted to make you like her and thrive but she murders people so you have the sadness for the husband. I felt for the husband to try and make the marriage work but in the end he needed to what was best for his family. I would recommend for an enjoyable thrilling read!
